You can see how far away you are from downtown Minneapolis in the first photo above. I didn't get a photo of it, but it is very convenient to take the Minneapolis light rail system from the airport to downtown, as long as you can walk a few blocks with your stuff. The only problem you might encounter is that there are no luggage racks on these trains that go to the airport!

One thing I was inpressed with at the airport was that, at the food court, there was a large percentage of the seating space that had couters with electrical outlets. It was easy to plug in my computer, put on headphones, and become productive while waiting for my flight. There is WIFI available, but it is on a paid basis. The amount of these types of benches at LaGuardia Airport was tiny by comparison.
