Arizona Panoramic Photo

Red Rock Park is at the southwest end of Sedona. You would take Route 89A South to Red Rock Loop Road (the lower loop is paved all the way there). This park has a lot of hiking trails with great views. The trails aren't steep, like at Devil's Bridge, so my mother could walk up them.

You definitely get a different kind of scenery at Red Rock Park than at Slide Rock Park and the trails in the north. Here you can see vast expanses of desert and wide vistas of lots of hills in the distance. Just look at that panoramic photo above. In the other trails, you are more "up close and personal" with the red rocks and are surrounded by the hills.
