Killington VT

Killington Mountain is a popular place to go skiing in Vermont and includes Pico and K-1 mountains. It is one of the larger "mountains" in New England and has a lot more slopes (200 slopes and 33 lifts) than Okemo Mountain skil area. In the summer these are still "green mountains" and people use the slopes for mountain biking and sightseeing via the Killington Mountain Gondola. There are some better mountain landscape views on the next page.

Killington is just under an hour west of White River Junction, Vermont (at the intersection of Routes I91 and I89), mainly traveling on Vermont Route 4. When you get to Bill's Country Store, turn up the hill onto Killinton Road to get to the majority of the condos, restaurants, stores, and ski slopes. The turn is also very close to Gifford State Park. Here's a link to some kind of Killington Homepage run by Killington Resort.
