| The shape of the Temple of Heaven is probably familiar to people in the USA. I have been noticing it a lot more on menus, wallpapers and prints at Chinese restaurants, since I took a tour on my vacation. Just look at how small the people look in the picture on the right in the first row. The size is amazing. |

| The photo above on the left is a picture of a man who is painting a story or poem on the sidewalk using water. You have to stay with the story because what happened a little while ago has evaporated. |

| There is an huge park, as well as other buildings, around the Temple of Heaven. You can easily spend a few hours walking around here, and it is right in the city of Beijing. You can see one entrance in the center photo of the last row. There was a lot of construction going on in Beijing in 2002. Look at all of the cranes in the center photo above. |
