| Kylemore Abbey has a great piece of property with a park-like setting and beautiful scenery. If you took your time you could easily spend a couple of hours here. You can tour around the main Abbey (which is an active school, I believe) and walk the grounds. There are some great displays of the different kinds of Cannamera Marble inside the chapel. | ||

| The surrounding area is nicer than around Blarney Castle. The difference is in Blarney there is actually a town with the Woolen Mills and restaurants. This place is pretty much out on its own. | ||
