| The top of the dome is actually teflon coated fiberglass and collapsed a couple of times due to snow in the early years. This was prevented from happening again by putting a second layer of fabric below the roof so that a layer of hot air could be kept close to the ceiling. It holds 64,000 for football and 48,000 for baseball. | ||
