Stockholm is known as the "Venice of the North". It is made up of many islands. It seems to be built up much more for business than the other cities I visited in Scandinavia. I'm sure you can relax and enjoy some recreation in Stockholm, but it is harder to find because the town is much bigger, so plan ahead any vacations / holidays.

You can see the tour boats were crowded in the middle of June. They are also covered and have longer seats than the ones in Copenhagen, so it is harder to see out. You tune in your language on headphones. I'm pretty sure the photo in the middle is "Kungstradgarden", the main park down near the tour boats and the old city "Galma Stan". That's a TGI Friday's in the center.

I really liked the architecture in the city and there is plenty of it to see just by walking in town. Nice colors on the Swedish graffiti, eh? I hope those aren't swear words...
