| The first photo in the upper left is leaving the hills around Montreux. We took two different trains to get from Montreux to Interlaken. One of the trains was not the official "Golden Pass" train, but I don't know what photos were from that one for sure. | ||

| All of the trains I was in on during my vacation in Switzerland were very nice. Clean, comfortable, not over-crowded, and, of course, on time. There are different sections of the train and you need a different ticket to be in the 1st class compartments. I don't know about the rest of the country, but this was true for the train route we took, from Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux, Interlaken, Jungfraujoch, Lucerne [Luzern], and Zurich. | ||

| We toured this Switzerland Scenery in early January. A couple of people we talked to said that there was usually much more snow in this area than you see here, so be prepared. Here is some train info. | ||
