| We took a different route back from Shigatse than when going there. We ate at this lady's restaurant shown to her left. It seems that the garbage is thrown out the back and whatever the goat doesn't eat stays there (on her right). The photos below are from a bus stop farther along the river. I was so tired of traveling that I didn't even want to check out the neat suspension bridge across the river. | ||

| The center photos are good examples of how the sand is often blown up the sides of hills. The rest of the photos have people in them, which helps to show the scale of the mountains. | ||
