We met a group of people while at the Tashilunpo Monastery in Shigatse. They were very friendly and, like in Lhasa, they just loved the digital camera with its instant-viewing of pictures. A couple of them had cameras and we got in their pictures, too. A friend I traveled with found out that they had traveled hundreds of miles together to make this pilgrimage and that they were camping just outside the monastery. After dinner, we went back and shared some more photos and charades and laughs.
