Nicollet Mall is in Downtown Minneapolis, with one end being very close to the Minneapolis Convention Center. There is a good amount of restaurants and shops at street level, limited motor vehicles, and the farmer’s market is here (in season), making it a good place to walk around if the weather permits..

Many more restaurants and shops are 1 level up, reachable by the Minneapolis Skyway system, which is an enclosed, raised walkway connecting many downtown buildings —much appreciated in the winter. That’s Brit’s Pub in the center photo below.
