Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Photos

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is very much set up as a holiday / vacation destination. To its credit, the beach is big and beautiful and there are a lot of restaurants, bars, and novelty shops if you like to be surrounded by activities. Although I didn’t stay overnight, it looks like there are plenty of resorts that are not in the center of the activity, so you can probably find quieter spots away from the boardwalk area.

If you are from the northeast USA, the boardwalk area is like Hampton Beach, NH on steroids. A nice place to go people watching for a very short amount of time, but just a little too sticky and stinky for my taste.
