| I think the Sedona and Grand Canyon area is a great place for a family to go on vacation if you have any interests in nature or natural wonders at all. The Grand Canyon is huge, but we saw these sites, as well as the Painted Desert section in one (kind of long) day. The Sedona area has a whole lot of different parks to go hiking in that aren't as big of project as hiking down a canyon. PSA: There are a lot of people every year who get injured, lost, or very uncomfortable because they think they can walk back up a trail "in an hour or so". You can't, and it gets very cold very fast. Consult the parks services. |
