The two most popular ways to get to Cozumel Island are the Playa del Carmen Ferry or stopping by on a huge cruise ship. The ferry takes 45 minutes one way and costs about 12 USD. The last photo in the first row shows the smallest Hard Rock Cafe in the world.

Downtown Cozumel is a kind of "Playa del Carmen light". It has a lot of pedestrian shopping areas, but not as much traffic or other congestion. There is much of the island that is NOT crowded and very quiet, as you can see on the next page of Cozumenl Tour Photos. The people in the last photo in the row below are doing a "swim with the dolphins".

Cozumel is fairly famous for having world-class scuba diving and snorkeling. With a 45 min ferry ride to Playa del Carmen, you can also take tours to Mayan ruins sites, like Chichen Itza, Tulum [Telum], and Coba.
