Here is a page of picture from the "nickel tour" of Cozumel Island. It was about 1-2 hours, depending on how long you stayed at the stops. Not too many stops in total. The first 11 photos on this page are from the first stop: Mezcalitos and/or Senior Iguanas.

The next 9 photos are from the second stop on the ocean side of the Cozumel taxi tour, called Chen Rio. While downtown Cozumel is quite crowded and busy, the rest of the island was very spread-out and relaxed.

The 3rd stop on the ocean side of Cozumel is called "Cafe Paradise" and/or "Bob Marley's Place", but it is definitely not a shop run by Rastas. There is also some kind of National Park preserve in the area.

After the three stops we had on the ocean side, we stopped at a sleepy little village called "El Cedral". When I say "sleepy", I mean I went in a store to get a drink, but the lady behind the counter was sleeping... The map says there are "Mayan Ruins" here, but it is one very small ruin. I think the tour was worth it. We did it all in the same day as our visit to Playa del Carmen without being rushed.
