| There are a lot of Subway trains that stop at Canal Street. If you are on the Red or Blue Lines, head east on Canal to see more. For the other stops, you will be very close if not in China Town already. I won't try and name the boundaries for you. It does cover more south of Canal than north. Like I said about other Downtown NYC neighborhoods, I suggest walking in circles. There are many discount store, and this is certianly the place to find Chinese restuarants and specialty goods. | ||

| There is a HUGE art supply store called Pearl Paint, that is kind of a landmark, on Canal between Broadway and Church. Canal Street was/is sometimes called "New York's Attic" because of a large amount of surplus (junk) and discount stores on the street. This ends up the walking tour of downtown NYC neighborhoods that began in Greenwich Village. The next walking tour is all the way uptown and starts at the south end of Central Park. | ||
