| Look at those colors. This place looks pretty festive, eh? That is Wharfside Village and has a good number of shops and restaurants. I was a little surprised at how small the island is, even after reading the statistics. This area is the most built-up part of St. John. Most of the island is a national park. | ||

| The center photo in the row above is probably the best overall view of Cruz Bay harbor. The tan buildings on the end are Gallows Point and two hotels to the left of that are Lavendar Hill Suites. It was not a problem to walk from Gallows Point to downtown for dinner, maybe 10-15 mins? You can just see the tip of St. Thomas beyond the little cay. | ||
