Anguilla Landscape Scenery

Anguilla is an island in the West Indies separating the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans. It is very close to the island of St Martin (Saint Maarten). A daily ferry runs between the two islands. There is a view of St. Martin from Blowing Point Harbor in the row of pictures above.

Anguilla has some world-class beaches with calm, clear waters. I stayed on the north side of the island where there is the very large and beautiful Shoal Bay Beach. I say “north side”, but the beach faces almost due-west and there are great views of the sunsets. These photos were taken in 2009.
