Junks Hole

There was a LOT of wind and surf at Junk’s Hole when I visited in May. I suppose the wind blows in this direction most of the time, because there is a large amount of “junk” that blows up on the shore. You can see some of the statues people have made from it.

Junk’s Hole is on the far southeast corner of Anguilla, and it might be called Savannah Bay on some of the maps. We got here on an unpaved road in a small rental sedan, but when we tried to go farther out on the point, the road became too rough. These photos were taken in 2009.
