Shoal Bay Beach

Shoal Bay beach is beach with white sand, crystal clear Caribbean blue water, and a normally calm surf. It is located east of The Valley on the west-facing side of Anguilla. Not too far away, there was also some excellent snorkeling that we saw while on a glass bottom boat tour.
This is one of those world-class beaches like you see on The Travel Channel. It reminds me of Pigeon Point Beach, Tobago; Grand Anse Beach, Grenada; and Trunk Bay, St. John, USVI.

I didn’t spend a lot of time at the beaches on the other side of the island. The beaches were nice where Cuisinart Resort and Cap Juluca Resort are at the other side of the island, although I don’t think you would have as good views of the sunsets. These photos were taken in 2009.
