The Red Hook ferry dock is closer to St. John than the one in Charlotte Amalie. I can't tell you much about Red Hook except it is maybe a 1/2 hour drive to the airport and it's not far from Coral World and Coki Beach. Update: The new dock terminal shown in the center photo below has been completed in 2007.
