There are a lot of Subway trains that stop at Canal Street. If you are on the Red or Blue Lines, head east on Canal to see more. I won't try and name the boundaries for you. It does go more to the east than the west. Like I said about other Downtown NYC neighborhoods, I suggest walking in circles. There are many discount store, and this is certianly the place to find Chinese restuarants and specialty goods. More recent photo of China Town by Anthony DiCarlo might be more relevant.
