Most famous NYC Tourist Sites

Welcome to my photo tour of NYC tourist sites. This page is part of a series of way-too-many photos to look at. There is no special order to the pictures on this page, but the rest of the series is separated into four parts: Uptown New York CityMidtown ManhattanDowntown NYC, and the southern end around Wall St & South St Seaport . If you follow the links to any of the walking tour pages, I have written a very brief review of the sites there. Here, I just list tourist sites from all over Manhattan. If you click a picture to see the slideshow, you can read the site name as the filename of the photo.

These photos were taken 2002 – 2009.

Alternative NYC Tourist Sites

Having mentioned the most popular, I think the most interesting architecture and restaurants are to be found Downtown New York City around smaller neighborhoods. My other tip is to let you know where the parks are in case you get tired of the concrete jungle. South End: Battery Park. Downtown, Washington Square Park is kind of small, but there is also East River Park. Midtown’s unsung hero is Bryant Park. Finally, it’s hard to miss Central Park when you are uptown.

More sources for lists of things to see in NYC come from Trip Advisor, TIme Out, and See The CIty.
