There always seems to be tourists on vacation in the square outside the New York Stock Exchange. I went inside on a field trip once, but I never get the urge to go back in. Maybe they are there to see Federal Hall, right across the street, where the first Capitol of the US was and George Washington was inaugurated as president. Trinity Church is nearby. You can see it from the corner of the stock exchange.

This page is part of a walking tour of downtown NYC that started at City Hall. The next and last stop is Battery Park. To get there from Wall Street or Ground Zero, walk south on Broadway or Trinity Place until you run out of streets. The last photos on this page are of are of Ground Zero and where One World Trade Center is. If you are at Trinity Church, you can get there by walking north (right) on Trinity Place.
These photos were taken 2002 - 2009.
