Jokhang Temple in Lhasa Tibet
Jokhang (Jokang) temple is in the center of “old” Lhasa, the section with a greater Tibetan population and less Han Chinese. It is surrounded by Barkhore Street, the business center of Lhasa. The faithful are always walking around it in a clockwise circle. It is one of the most sacred temples in Tibetan Buddhism, with the first part built in the 7th century. There is a nice view of Potala Palace from the rooftop.

We were lucky that the day we visited the temple, there was some kind of celebration going on. You can see the Buddhist monks who were playing some instruments and receiving the Coca-Cola. There is also a large blessed cake made by the Buddhist monks.
