Florida Hotels
Here is a very small selection of hotels from all over Florida. These are the ones I actually stayed in during a trip in 2011. Most are “average” hotels, slightly better than the cheapest ones. The exception is the nice hotel in Miami Beach. I have separate pages of many photos of Miami Art Deco hotels and other South Beach hotels that I did not stay in.
The file name of the photos shows the hotels when you open the pictures. Theay include Baymont Inn and Suites, Celebration, Florida; Everglades City Motel; Homosassa Riverside Resort, and the Ramada, Tampa.

The last hotel above is in South Beach, Miami. It cost twice as much as any of the other hotels. Still, I would recommend the Townhouse Hotel, Miami Beach, Florida, because of all the horrible reviews I read of the discount hotels on Miami Beach. The room was a good size and extremely clean (no carpet). The mattress was amazingly comfortable (really). There is not much a view out the window, but there are great views from the rooftop patio. The free continental breakfast was very high quality in a comfortable seating area. The location is 1 block from the ocean and 1/2 block from Collins Avenue and South Beach Scenery.
