Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park
The Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park is a faily large open-air zoo. There seems to be a lot for families to do there. It can easily take up a morning or afternoon (or more) if you take a slow walk by everything. There is a nice mixture of natural habitat settings for the animals. Manatees are pretty popular in this area. The hut in the row above is a place where you can often view them “in the wild”. We were pretty sure that is near the area where we had a swim with manatees.
