Newport First / Easton’s Beach

Once you figure out what to call this beach, the rest is easy. I have seen it called Newport Beach, First Beach, and Easton’s Beach. There are plenty of amenities in the large buildings in the middle of the beach, including a carousel. This beach is on a thin patch of land between a pond and a inlet on the ocean, so it is often windy.

If you are looking away from the buildings at the beach, and walk all the way to your right, you will be at one end of the Newport Cliff Walk, a very scenic path along the ocean and Newport Mansions.
