Warm Mineral Springs

Warm Mineral Spring is on the Gulf coast of Florida, roughly half way between the Tampa Bay – St. Petersburg area the Florida everglades. It was very relaxing change after spending a day at Busch Gardens. It was more like the section of Florida people called “Old Florida”, like Homosass Springs and Crystal River.

As you can see from the signs, there is also a spa area to the springs with massage, accupuncture, etc. There is a small cafe on the grounds with sandwiches, teas, etc. You can read about it all at the Warm Mineral Springs Homepage. There is a state park in the area we didn’t visit called Mayakka State Park. We did visit a park a couple of hours away in the Florida Everglades.
