New York City Churches
Here are some photos of some of the more famous churches in New York City and some I just happen to see along the way. They are as three sections in order of Midtown Manhattan, uptown NYC on both sides of Central Park, and then Downtown NYC.
The beginning photos from midtown start with the very famous Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. It is right across from Rockefeller Center on 5th Avenue. Then there are 4 photos of Saint Thomas Episcopal Church at 1 West 53rd Street, and a picture of 5th Avenue Presbyterian Church at 5th Avenue and 55th Street.
These photos were taken 2002 – 2009.
For the downtown churches, the first 4 pictures of Trinity Church, which is pretty famous and right next to Wall Street. Then there are 2 photos of Our Lady of Pompeii, in or around Greenwich Village.
The last 3 NYC church photos below are of Middle Collegiate Church at 50 East 7th Street, Most Precious Blood Church at 109 Mulberry Street, and a building that was originally a church and is now condos.
