4 Central Park
This page of photos of Central Park are from all over the park. It is a huge park and MUCH longer than it is wide (remember that the subway map is not to scale). There are a number of different named sections. The Mall is a nice walk in the shade and there is even a small Central Park Zoo.

I think you get the picture: You could spend a lot of time walking in Central Park. This page is part of a walking tour. I’m suggesting you follow the sidewalk behind the Metropolitan Museun of Art almost directly across the park. You will come out not far from the Museum of Natural History. If you are in that area, you should definitely stop by to see Strawberry Fields. It will be just a few blocks south at 74th Street, near the west side of Central Park. The next page of the walking tour doesn’t show any particular tourist sites. It is random photos from all over the Upper West Side.
