Minneapolis tourist sites

The Mall of America is actually in Bloomfield, MN, but people come from all over to Minneapolis to see it and they would probably come into the Minneapolis Airport. The big spoon and cherry are at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. The Downtown Minneapolis skyline was taken from the Minneapolis Hyatt on Nicollet Mall.

Across the river in St. Paul

The pictures of big buildings by themselves are from Saint Paul, MN. First is Saint Paul’s Cathedral, then the very large Minnesota Historical Society buidling, and the Minnesota State Capitol building. You can walk to all three in a day if the weather is nice.

These photos were taken around 2007+/-.

The Stone Arch Bridge is also seen in a panoramic photo at the top of the page. You get a great view of the bridge from the Mill City Museum, which is close to the Guthrie Theater. Here are the websites for the Mill City Museum and the Guthrie Theater.
